Description

UCLA Extension’s Entertainment Studies Department is currently accepting applications for an online instructor for the course, Post-Production for Film and Television. In order to be considered, applicants must have current and/or recent film or television credits related to post-production and have prior experience teaching online. Prior Canvas experience is preferred.

 

Instructors will develop a syllabus and online course materials in Canvas that cover the topics in the Post-Production for Film and Television course description:

 

Emphasizing how new technologies continue to impact post-production, this course examines the post-production process for film and television. Topics include picture and sound editing processes; non-linear editing of single and multi-camera programs; special visual effects; the impact of sound--from music scoring to effects design; budgeting, scheduling, and deliveries; and high-definition television and its impact on both feature and television post-production.
